SUMMER GRANTS

Together, we create opportunities for the students of Rochester CUSD3!

Since its founding in 2001, the Rochester Education Foundation has awarded nearly 500  grants that stimulate student engagement and learning experiences. These grants represent over $350,000 in support of creative, innovative and excellent projects. The committees evaluating grant requests are made up of representatives from the Rochester Education Foundation, Rochester Community Unit School District 3 staff, and the surrounding community.

Summer Grants have no dollar limit, but are subject to funds available and fund projects for the current school year. Summer Grants are awarded in the following categories:

  • Diversity and Inclusion

  • Fine Arts and Physical Education

  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
